Raven-Symone Christina Pearman (born December 10, 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA), known professionally as Raven-Symone or just Raven (her nicknames are Rave or Rae), is an African American actress, singer, and former child model that was signed with the Ford modeling agency. She is best known for her silly on-screen behavior in the show That's So Raven and as the cute but impish Olivia Kendall on The Cosby Show Raven is expecting a baby girl, due in January. Raven is currently the star of Disney Channel's sitcom That's So Raven (as Raven Baxter). Previously she played Olivia on The Cosby Show from 1989 to 1992. She went on to co-star in the sitcom Hangin' With Mr. Cooper. She has voice-over roles in the Disney Channel cartoon series Kim Possible as the recurring character Monique, and frequently appears in Disney Channel-related telefilms. Raven Symone also played Eddie Murphy's rebellious daughter Charisse in the movie, Dr. Dolittle and in Dr. Dolittle 2. Raven Symone also appeared on the season 5 premiere of Punk'd after being tricked by Ashton Kutcher for parking in the handicap zone, which is illegal to park without a handicap placard. Raven has 7 new movies she is working on, including "The cheetah Girls 2", "That's So Raven Movie", the remake of "Sparkle", a Lifetime movie called "For One Night", "All American Girl", and more! She has also released several albums, including Here's to New Dreams (1993), and Undeniable (1999). Her only single from her 1993 album was a hip hop track entitled "That's What Little Girls Are Made Of"; it was little more than a name-drop to various other acts of the era. She sometimes uses David Ijegbulem (her old boyfriend) for inspiration. She also got a huge weight gain after undergoing a bout of depression and overindulging in 2002. In 2004, she released her third studio album, This Is My Time. It features the songs "Backflip" and "This Is My Time", also included on the Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement soundtrack.
