Ana de la Reguera (b. April 8, 1977 in Veracruz) is a Mexican actress. Ana initiates her studies of performance in the Instituto Veracruzano de Cultura (IVEC) and hosted Pasarela of Televisa Veracruz. She is withdrawn of the Televisa's CEA, where she studied with Rosa Maria Bianchi, Patricia Reyes Spindola and Rafael Miranau. She also studied with Raul Quintanilla in the Centro de Formacion Actoral de TV Azteca (CEFAC). Her professional career initiated with her participation in the soap opera Azul and in Pueblo chico, infierno grande (1997) next to Veronica Castro, by which she received the Heraldo a la Mejor Revelacion Femenina. Desencuentro is her third soap opera in television under the production of Ernesto Alonso. Tentaciones (1998) marked her launching with the production company Argos. Immediately they offer her Destino and Todo por amor, where they gave her first protagonist by which she received the award Las Palmas de Oro. Cruz o Cara was her third soap opera with Argos and is transmitted by Telemundo in the United States. Ana also is seen interpreting Maria in the soap opera Por ti and Como Pedro por su casa. She has participated in different commercial and shows, such as: Mujer, casos de la vida real; Al derecho y al Derbez; Intimamente Shanik; Chiquitos pero picosos; La venta increible; Llevatelo and Complices en familia, to mention only some. In theatre she participates in El cartero, directed by Raul Quintanilla, by which she received two awards of the Asociacion de periodistas teatrales and another one from the Asociacion de criticos y periodistas teatrales. Her incursion in the cinema was as the protagonist of Por la Libre, under the direction of Juan Carlos de Llaca. This film grants her two more nominations: El Heraldo de la Revelacion Femenina and Eres Mejor Actriz.
